Some of George Condo's portraits seem to have a strange sort of perspective,
like an assemblage of objects set in different places,
from the foreground to the background. Also, Chuck Close speaks of
a process of constructing, building his portraits
little by little. These observations made me think of Salvador Dali
and, more precisely, his installation and his painting of a face
which looks like a room --or is it a room which looks like a face ?
